My Florida Holiday Round-up – Day 2

9 Jun

Day 2 – Monday 9th May

We were up early (probably from excitement) and hopped on the bus to go to the airport. We went straight through to departures with no probs at all! First stop – breakfast! We went to Frankie and Bennies for some grub before a quick mooch around the shops, although we didn’t buy. We headed down to our gate at around 10:15ish and waited to board the plane. We boarded the plane, and although we left a little bit late, the captain announced that the flight would not take as long as expected – whoop whoop!

The entertainment system was great (better than Virgin’s in my opinion – of course that may have changed now that they have their new planes)! We watched a few films to pass the time and before we knew it we were landing. Unfortunately, as we landed early, we arrived at Orlando airport at the same time as the Virgin flight – so it took AGES to get through arrivals!

Once we had found our luggage we headed straight over to the Dollar rental desk to pick up our car – as usual they tried to sell us every extra under the sun, but we refused and headed over to choose our car! We picked a sliver Chevrolet Cobolt. Paul switched on his sat nav and off we went! We arrived at the villa at around 6:30pm, we were amazed, it was absolutely beautiful (have posted some pics below)!

After we had dumped our bags we headed out to Smokey Bones for some dinner (our fave Florida restaurant) before heading to Walmart for the shopping. Then tiredness had finally caught up with us and we had an early night!

Here are a few pics of our wonderful villa:
