There are so many hidden secrets at Walt Disney World and I don’t want you guys missing out! So, I am going to share a few with you…here are some about Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Useful Secrets
- If there is a queue to get into the park, try going through the Rainforest Cafe – there is a park entrance to the rear of the gift shop
- Every morning, about 15 minutes before the scheduled opening time, you can head into the park. At the ‘Tree of Life’ area of the park, Minnie, Pluto and Goofy arrive to welcome you. Soon after, Mickey arrives and they all get on their truck and drive through the park to Harambe
- There are lots of games for children to play around the park, so keep your eye out as you walk around for some touchy feely games
Interesting Secrets
- Stop and look down at the walkway under your feet. Did you know, that the leaf prints and mud cracks were made by a mold? The Imagineers actually took a large patch of mud, made a cast of it, and then reproduced it for the walkways of Disney’s ‘Africa’
- There are about 27,000,000 gallons of water in the ‘Discovery river’. That will fill about 1,800 average-sized swimming pools!
- The Oasis gardens were originally going to be called ‘Genesis Gardens’ before it was decided that the religious connotation of ‘genesis’ might be controversial in the future
